Central Illinois at a Glance
Where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re going.
Since 1965, Young Life leaders have been entering the world of teenagers — listening, laughing, building trust, and introducing them to Jesus. In Central Illinois, this legacy is strong. Today, Young Life is active in three core communities, reaching high schoolers, middle schoolers, teen moms, and students with disabilities.
And this is just the beginning.
Where We Are Now
Young Life is currently active in:
These ministries are powered by faithful volunteer leaders, staff, donors, and prayer partners who show up consistently in the lives of kids.
Young Life is all about relationships. We show up in kids’ lives — at school, on the field, and wherever they are — to build trust, have fun, and share the Gospel. Through weekly Club, small group Bible studies called Campaigners, one-on-one conversations, and life-changing camp experiences, we walk alongside kids as they explore faith, ask big questions, and discover they’re deeply loved by God.

“We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the Gospel of God but our lives as well.”

Where We’re Going
The story isn’t finished — and we can’t move forward without you.
As we look to the next 60 years, we dream of Young Life being present in every school and neighborhood in Central Illinois — so that every kid, no matter where they live or what they’re walking through, has the chance to know they are seen, known, and deeply loved by God.
To get there, we need:
More volunteer leaders who will show up and share life with kids
Prayer partners who will intercede for this generation and those reaching them
Committee members and supporters who will carry the mission locally
Believers in the community who care deeply about the next generation and want to make a difference
God has been faithful for six decades — and we believe the best is still ahead.
